Radio Flyer

Sanders loves taking rides in his Radio Flyer...

Someone say "flyer"? Let's get this thing off the ground!

Thanks Nana and Grampa!

Santa Claus is coming to town

Despite the timing of this shot, Sanders woke up Christmas morning very excited to see what Santa had brought him...

I think he liked what he found.

Toys and SOCKS!

Santa

I don't think Sanders really knows what he's in for. He didn't mind the fat guy with the white beard -- especially when he found out he could ask for cool stuff!

He got a Christmas ducky already...

Such a cutie!

Christmas Lights

Brianna and Braylee spent the weekend with us to celebrate their birthdays. We all went to the Memphis Zoo for Christmas Lights. It was so cold...

The girls enjoyed a carousel ride.

And the petting zoo...

But Sanders favorite was the Aquarium and fishes...

Christmas Parade

Sanders enjoyed the Oxford Christmas Parade. Fortunately for us, it was about half as long as last year -- even though it was almost as cold as last year. Between Carmen's broken camera, my lost camera charger and not being able to find a replacement battery for the 35mm camera, we're a little short on pictures these days.... Thanks to Courtney for this shot.

Even though he was all bundled up, it didn't stop him from dancing and clapping to the bands.

Tad Pad

Sanders continued his "Rebel Fan" training last night with a trip to the Tad Pad. Even though it went past his bedtime, he hung in there.

The lady behind us was obviously unimpressed, but the couple beside us thought he was adorable.

Trick or Treat

Sanders is getting ready for his big night on the town collecting all kinds of treats. Even though cousin Braden thought he'd make a good elephant, Sanders is sporting his giraffe costume with spunk.

Lucky for us, he's game for just about whatever we throw his way.

Pumpkin Patch

Sanders enjoyed his first trip to a pumpkin patch.

I know it's not supposed to be funny.... but it kinda was.

These are more his size...

"Am I supposed to sit on them?"

all these pumpkins are blocking the grass....

Lake Guntersville, AL

Our fall family vacation was to Lake Guntersville, AL.

View from our balcony in the Lodge.

No fall color yet, but the lake views were pretty cool.

Taking in the sights...

Aren't those jeans cute??

Once we found the trail (which turned out to be clearly marked...) we had a good hike.

We stopped at the swings. It was a big hit.

His first big boy cracker. Go Ritz!

Ave Maria Grotto -- Cullman, AL

Oktoberfest 2008 --- Starkville, MS

Oktoberfest -- Mississippi style -- was a lot of fun. Having a 6 month old along probably kept us from partaking of as much of the German beer as we might of liked, but we sure made up for it by eating more than our fair share of brats, pork chops and fish.

How about the great t-shirts that Bart made? That's his sisters Anya between us.

Did someone say "Brats"?
